The Role:
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and passionate individual to join the CoStar Group, Inc. Product Development team to help us dream up - and bring to life - user-friendly products and applications. As a Product Intern, you will work hand-in-hand with Product Managers, Software Engineers, User Interface Designers and Web Developers
In this position you will have the chance to transform product concepts from idea to reality, collaborate with Agile software development teams to build features using the latest technology and craft engaging user experiences to help renters find their next apartment effortlessly. You will get to work in the vibrant downtown city center of Richmond VA and join a fun, hardworking team with great company culture.
This position is located in Richmond, VA
Responsibilities
Clearly articulate requirements in task, bug, feature and project tickets
Maintain an up-to-date backlog based on product and business priorities
Work with UI Designers to create wireframes and mockups for new products and features
Participate in Agile development meetings such as daily standups and sprint planning and assist the team with clarification when needed
Coordinate with Quality Assurance Analysts to perform acceptance testing on features prior to release
Manage communications with various cross-functional stakeholders
Track and analyze product performance post-release
Perform user and competitive research
Use KPI and research data to identify opportunities
Bring ideas for product optimization and new development to the group
Basic Qualifications
Working knowledge of Agile development processes
Working knowledge of UI/UX best practices
Effective communicator with excellent written communication skills
Ability to manage delivery timelines
Must work well solo or within a group
Be an ambitious self-starter
