The Analytics team at BizBuySell is responsible for the development of business and product metrics, providing data-driven decision-making solutions, build descriptive and predictive data products, and advancing the level of data & insights integration in all business functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant fields, graduating between December 2025 and June 2026; graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA  
• Previous data science or data analytics experience
• Good understanding of machine-learning, predictive analysis, and data modeling.
• Working knowledge in at least one scripting language (Python, SQL, or R)
• Hands-on experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. PBI, Looker, Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, MySQL)
• Strong presence, and presentation skills, especially those related to building compelling insight-driven presentations.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills (e.g. statistics, algebra, geometry, numerical analysis)
• Conceptual thinking skills complemented by strong quantitative skills

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyze and compile data many internal data sources, for descriptive and predictive purposes.
• Conduct extensive analyses of BizBuySell’s data and, in the process, develop a deep understanding of the business and product.
• Provide a mix of sound strategic advice combined with practical operational insight and support.
• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
• Present information using data visualization techniques.
• Implement analytical models in production by collaborating with product managers and engineers.

This position offers an hourly wage of $45.00 per hour.
