Associate DevOps Engineer – Irvine, CA

As CoStar’s next Associate DevOps Engineer, you will have a direct impact on highly visible Apartments.com web applications that touch millions of users. You continuously learn emerging technologies and architecture advancements and apply the learnings to improve CoStar Group’s software products. We are searching for an exceptional Associate DevOps Engineer in Irvine, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Utilize continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) using latest DevOps tools and innovative methods
  • Pro-active monitoring, analyzing metrics, implementing best practices, and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Heavy scripting support (PowerShell), Bash, Ruby, Groovy 
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree, upon full-time start in June 2024
  • Experience with managing heavy web traffic sites using mass scale architecture with a developer focus
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
  • Infrastructure as code using Cloudformation, Terraform or similar platforms 
  • Some experience in AWS or Azure or Google cloud
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring tools in areas of APM, system vitals, synthetics and RUM.
  • Experience with any SQL or No SQL databases 
  • Must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA
  • Must have completed Summer 2024 Technology Internship with CoStar Group DevOps 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Programming languages / some developer background with either C#, Python,NodeJS
  • Server-less architecture methodologies
  • Familiarity with PCI compliance and remediation 
  • Mobile application support (iOS, Android)
  • Experience in REST API or Microservices development

This position offers a salary range of $100,000 - $105,000 per year.
