About the role

Within the Communication Services Business Line, Global Professional Services Develop and maintain innovative, sustainable and transversal Digital & Professional Services offers and capabilities on the whole CSBL scope to support all types of telco/digital integrated solutions shaped in the zones.

Its mission is also to create associated sales collateral communication plan, training and build the service catalogue together with Sales channels, Zones, Business lines, IT, Operations and Partners.

Mission: 

The mission of a project manager (PM) is to navigate both traditional project management using the V-cycle (or Waterfall) and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE) as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer (RTE). This dual-role PM needs to ensure effective delivery of both types of projects.

 

In the context of the V-cycle, the project manager’s mission is to ensure that the project is completed within a fixed scope, budget, and timeline.

 

In the SAFe framework, the project manager takes on the role of a Release Train Engineer, whose mission shifts toward supporting Agile Release Trains (ARTs) with a focus on iterative delivery, collaboration, and facilitating self-organizing teams. 

 

 

Main activity :

 Lead complex internal offer development projects, with a multidisciplinary background & reporting levels within the organization.

 As Project manager, accountable for scope, time and delay of the project

• Understand customer needs (internal /external) and respond effectively with a plan to meet those needs and delivery dates.
• Prepare and lead product board sessions reporting to Exec levels. 
• Have a strong analytical mind to be able to act on problems resolution, support the project team and find the correct escalation points when needed.

 

As Scrum Master, assists the team in meeting their delivery goals (Coaching).

• Facilitating PI Planning
• Supporting Iteration Execution
• Improving flow
• Improving ART PerformanceBuilding High-Performing Teams

As RTE’s on facilitation rather than direct control, helping teams remove obstacles, maintain alignment, and deliver iterative releases.

 

• Facilitating Agile Release Train (ART) Planning and Execution
• Supporting Agile Principles with promoting Lean-Agile principles, encouraging collaboration,
• Dependency and Risk Management with regular syncs to resolve issues and adjust plans as needed.
• Tracking Progress and Facilitating Continuous Improvement to monitor ART progress and support the teams in adapting as necessary. 
• Stakeholder Engagement and communication to ensures that stakeholders are aligned with the iterative release cycle.
• Supporting Teams in achieving value delivery ensuring each increment delivers value to customers in a meaningful way.

About you

The candidate has an experience of 10 years of product management, ideally in the high tech/IT environment. Graduated from a business school, he/she has already worked with an international company. He/She could adapt to a new context, to comply with an international business, to work transversally and to be part of a virtual international team.

 

 Main skills

• Previous experience in Professional Services and offers/products development environment (preferable)
• Strong leadership with a proven Teamwork spirit
• Experience in Telecommunications /IT Sectors & exposure to multinational environment.
• Safe certified, at least leading safe, RTE certification is strongly recommended. 
• ability to work in transversal mode, in a virtual team environment.
• ability to identify problems and work to resolution as required.
• ability to engage and partner with customer and internal staff as required.
• known for his/her capacity to deliver.
• open minded, able to look out on the market, and on the competition.
