Job Description

This is a full time (40 hours/week), 14-week hybrid summer internship that will occur during one of the below time frames:

• May 3 - August 13, 2027

• May 10 - August 20, 2027

Open to hiring candidates that reside anywhere near our three primary regions:

• West (Grand Rapids)
• East (Southfield)
• South (St. Joseph)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Generative AI Intern to join our Enterprise AI & Automation team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, apply advanced analytical methods, and contribute to solving complex business and clinical challenges.

Essential Functions

• Advanced Data Exploration and Analysis: Analyze complex healthcare or business data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that support more informed decision-making.
• AI Exploration: Explore innovative AI applications, assess their feasibility and ethical implications, and contribute to the implementation of suitable solutions.
• Collaboration on Transformation: Work with a team who is architecting the use of Conversational AI.

Qualifications

Required

• Pursuing or recently obtained a technical degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or business.
• Some experience with Python, SQL, and machine learning or data science concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
