Software Engineer

Software Engineer, Hybrid Sevilla or Fully Remote in Spain

CCC is currently looking for a Software Engineer. You will work with a team of back-end developers and QA engineers for our products and applications portfolio.  The software engineer will be allocated to one or more of these projects 

The individual must possess oral and written English communications skills and have a track record of working with a cross-functional engineering team as we are world-wide with team-members in many countries.  Experience with AWS is a plus.  Experience working with rest services and creating rest services is a plus. Experience working with Vaadin framework is a plus.

What you will be doing: 

• Create, integrate, and implement new systems, enhancements and software solutions using business analysis and technical skills, including full spectrum of system life cycle development.   
• Participates as a team member in analysis, development, implementation, testing and documentation of software engineering projects, setting, and meeting realistic timelines and deadlines.  
• Ensures that design and code review occur in a timely manner and are documented.  
• Contributes to the development of new applications standards and infrastructure 

What you skills/experience you need to have: 

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience building Web-based and server-based applications using Java, Spring, relational database (Postgresql), AWS experience
2. Experience with search frameworks, preferably OpenSearch, experience with RESTful services, GitHub, Jira
3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience with project management and/or system life cycle development methodology, particularly Agile/SAFe
4. Proactive in identifying and assimilating emerging technologies and applications.
5. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, subject to peer review.
6. Ability to set and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent analytical and interpretative skills.
8. Excellent verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills.
