Our product, eMED, is designed to support the management of clinical records for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), end-stage renal disease (ESRD), and transplant cases. The Position: 
We are looking to hire a SQA Analyst, with hands on experience and expertise primarily in manual testing multi-tier enterprise web applications.  

As part of a small, collaborative team, you will play a key role in manual testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, and implementation. You will leverage your significant expertise in manual testing to identify opportunities for improving quality assurance processes and ensure the high-quality, timely delivery of projects. Close collaboration with the development team and other groups, such as Product Management, is essential.  

The successful hire will be located and work out of the Contour Software Karachi office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the onshore R&D team, located in Markham, Canada. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Comprehensive Manual Testing, write and execute detailed test plans and test cases to validate functionality, usability, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, or other applicable standards). 

• Regulatory and Data Integrity Compliance, verify that software meets strict healthcare industry requirements for patient safety, data privacy, and security, ensuring accurate and reliable system performance. 

• Collaboration to Improve Quality, work closely with development, product management, and compliance teams to identify defects, suggest process improvements, and maintain high-quality standards throughout the software lifecycle. 

Responsibilities: 

• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System & Performance level testing. 

• Design, develop & maintain Test Cases/Scripts for our software application releases. 

• Ensure software defects are collected and tracked consistently with the agreed-upon documentation scheme and report defects to the project team as appropriate. 

• Report recommendations or alternatives that address existing and potential areas of improvement. 

• Liaison with product developers and technical support specialists regarding product issues. 

• Maintain up-to-date QA/Process/Product related artifacts. 

• Contribute to product and process improvements and refinement of QA best practices. 

• Develop, schedule, and execute testing strategies and plans for multiple products/projects/versions. 

• Follow all applicable our Quality Management System policies and procedures 

• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience: 

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline 

• 3-5 years of experience years of software testing/QA experience preferably on customer facing enterprise application.

• Strong ability to understand business processes and logic. 

• Strong ability to escalate issues to the relevant teams in a timely manner. 

• Experience with necessary testing tools such as bug tracking tools and applications (e.g. Jira/Confluence) 
• Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
• This is an onsite job and require working from office five days a week

Desirable: 

• Experience in testing interfacing to third-party software – Knowledge of Mirth Connect and HL7 message format is a big plus 

• Experience/Ability to work with automation tools, build test automation frameworks, and perform scripting is a plus.
