The Division:
OneFile is a market-leading provider of learning and development software to support the delivery of apprenticeships and qualifications training through its ePortfolio and learning management (LMS) platform.
The Position:
We are looking to hire a SQA Analyst having experience and expertise in evaluating every phase of the development process to ensure that the design and software adhere to company standards. Software delays are costly for a company, so releases need to meet target dates and stay within budget. The hired individual will help meet deadlines by breaking up the development process into attainable testing goals and relaying any issues back to the development and product teams or leaders.
The selected candidate will be working out of the Contour Software Lahore office, as an extension of the R&D team located in Europe.
Key Activities:
• Contribute to risk analysis & classification as part of the development process.
• Support estimation & sizing activities.
• Design & Execute Functional & non-functional tests.
• Update & maintain regression test repository.
• Investigate and raise bugs.
• Provide status reports to key stakeholders.
• Thoroughly document and handover key testing artifacts
• Support with audits and other quality assurance measures.
Skills & Experience Required:
Must have:
• University or College educated or equivalent (BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related technical disciplines is preferred).
• 2-3 years professional QA testing experience.
• ISTQB Foundation Certificate, or equivalent QA certification.
• Experience with SQL, XML/JSON, REST API
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Nice to have:
• Experience in Education sector
• Experience in Automation
