Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Regional Specialist IT Interfaces to join our team in Otrokovice, Czechia.
- Member of an international team located across various regions (AMERICA, EMEA, APAC)
- Implementation/integration of machines for big data collection and analysis
- Participation in both small and large projects focused on the digitalization of machinery and their processes (IIoT and Cloud – edge computing technologies, Kubernetes Cluster (K8s))
- Specification and documentation of the required hardware to equip machines so they provide accurate data for manufacturing information systems
- Support in spreading essential know-how across production plants
- Consultant in the area of IT interfaces for Continental plants worldwide
- Project management in the field of IT interfaces
- Collaboration with all involved technical departments
- Travel according to planned projects
Qualifications
- University degree in a technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation within a manufacturing plant
- Project management skills
- Knowledge of Step7, TwinCAT, and IPC management
- Proficiency in programming languages (C++, C#, and Python)
- Logical and analytical thinking, flexibility, proactive approach, independence
- Willingness to travel (approximately 30% of the time)
- English language proficiency at least at B1 level (the position requires daily communication in English, both spoken and written)
