Contentstack is looking for a Sr. Salesforce Developer. As our first dedicated Salesforce Developer you have the unique opportunity to establish a strong foundation of DevOps best practices and set our team up for success into the future. This role requires deep technical expertise of the Salesforce platform and the ability to leverage its full spectrum of capabilities to achieve our goals. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Salesforce applications, leveraging both declarative tools (e.g., Flow Builder) and code-based development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate functional requirements into technical specifications for Salesforce solutions.
• Design and architect scalable and robust Salesforce solutions, ensuring best practices and optimal performance.
• Develop custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
• Implement integration solutions with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, pre-built connectors, or custom integration solutions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry trends, and leverage emerging technologies to enhance Salesforce capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Salesforce Developer certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II) is required. Additional certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Architect are a plus.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including declarative programming and code-based development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, including customization, configuration, and integration with third-party systems.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and best practices for customization and development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with Gearset or Copado is preferred.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is preferred.
