What Are We Looking For?
Contentstack is looking for a Senior Software Engineer II. If you’re looking for an opportunity to join an innovative, fun, and fast-paced team where your contributions will have a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you!
Roles & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a candidate who will work on adding features and plugins to our existing CLI application based on OCLIF framework written in NodeJS
Create and update CLI plugins with unit and integration tests
Understand complex data structures & references of a SaaS application & ability to import and export data via API calls
Work across the stack from a code commit to running it in production, with the end goal of delivering the best possible experience for the user
Write high quality code that is scalable, testable, maintainable and reliable
Independently own and drive new features from scratch
Work in an Agile environment and facilitate agile practices
Champion best practices and cross-functional skill development
Continuously improve by working on and providing feedback
Collaborate with people across roles to understand the domain and work towards building the right solution
Adopt an open mindset for learning new things and working in new roles
Ready to adapt new roles, tools or technology as per need
Expert Coding as per project requirements
Required Skill sets:
Expertise in Node.js, Javascript, TypeScript, NPM
Experience of Git, TDD is must
Software debugging and unit testing experience is must
Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
Deep understanding of HTTP and REST protocols
Experience with OCLIF or CLI alike framework is a plus
Understanding of modern software development methodologies and tools.
Excellent oral and written communication
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision
Ability to accurately estimate software development tasks-given a set of requirements and assumptions
Ability to develop secure solutions and knowledge of industry best practices regarding information security and defensive development
Experience developing and pushing NPM modules is a plus
Experience handling open source projects is a plus
Knowledge of CI/CD tools is a plus
Experience practicing Agile software development methods is preferred
Location - Chennai(Hybrid)
Experience - 4 to 6 Years
