Senior Integration Engineer I

Contentstack is looking for a Senior Integration Engineer. This role will be responsible for the overall design, development, and maintenance of technologies that enable automation and data integration across Contentstack systems, including our product databases, and enterprise applications such as Salesforce and Netsuite. This role requires technical ownership on cross-functional projects and will be working with stakeholders from across the organization to address complex data and integration challenges focused on supporting scale and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall strategic vision and architecture of integration technologies, including the selection, implementation, and roadmap of integration platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and capture integration requirements, and write and review technical design proposals.
• Architect, design, and implement scalable and resilient integration solutions that meet business needs by leveraging iPaaS, connectors, and APIs.
• Investigate and resolve integration-related issues (including those within enterprise business applications such as Salesforce and NetSuite) to ensure high system availability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation of integration solutions.
• Provide recommendations for standard methodologies pertaining to integration design and development, with a mind towards best practices.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to integration.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance the integration process.
• Define and drive test and automation strategies including test case development, test execution, test automation, execution of automated suites, defect identification and reporting, and proactive communication to project stakeholders.
• Single point of contact for planning, driving, and coordinating test, release, and automation delivery.
• Document, track, and triage issues in JIRA.

Mandatory skills:

• 5 - 8  years of experience building enterprise-level integration solutions with a focus on performance, scalability and security
• 3+ years experience as a integration and automation specialist
• 3+ years of experience on any programming language (C, C++, Python and JavaScript)
• 2+ year experience on performance testing of applications with high volume data 
• Proven experience with extensible REST APIs.
• Highly proficient in test automation UI and API like Selenium WebDriver (or similar load testing tools)
• Hands-on experience building integration across multiple systems
• Strong expertise in business process management, business systems technology architecture, tool evaluation.
• Preference for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can often change.
• Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A high attention to detail and quality
• Excellent time and priority management skills
