What Are We Looking For?
Contentstack is looking for a Senior QA Engineer I. If you’re looking for an opportunity to join an innovative, fun, and fast-paced team where your contributions will have a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you! Here’s what you’ll be doing.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain internal scripts to automate QA processes for efficiency.
- Perform frontend and backend testing for web platforms.
- Conduct regression testing for web platforms to ensure stability and functionality.
- Generate detailed testing reports and status updates to track progress and issues.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive repository of test cases for various scenarios.
- Provide constructive feedback to developers to improve the quality of the product.
- Complete assigned tasks within specified deadlines to ensure timely delivery.
- Update and maintain internal product documentation to reflect current features and processes.
Required Skill Sets:
- Strong experience of Selenium WebDriver and Java for automated testing.
- Good experience in API automation testing using Runscope or Rest Assured or any other similar automation testing tools.
- Experience with bug reporting tools such as JIRA.
- Strong understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies for iterative development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-directed with the ability to detect and solve problems independently.
- Knowledge in load testing to assess system performance under varying demands.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) practices.
- Knowledge with JavaScript-based end-to-end (E2E) frameworks like Cypress or Playwright.

Experience - 5 to 7 years
