Quality Tech Architect

About the job

• The Quality Team is seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Quality Tech Lead to become a driver in automation and innovation within our dynamic team. In this role you will be a key technical leader within our Quality Process, shaping our End-to-End strategy, and defining the future of our Quality Framework. You will closely work with technical experts to design, scale , and maintain the automation framework, while reporting to your Engineering Manager.

What you’ll do

• Architect, Develop, and Extend our Automation Framework: Work with scalable and maintainable automation technologies that integrate seamlessly with our development and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead, Mentor, and Build a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Generate and Automate detailed reports and metrics on test coverage, execution, and outcomes, providing insights to stakeholders and driving data-driven decisions.
• Establish and Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and test automation, including metrics for test coverage, defect density, and test execution times.
• Oversee the Setup and Maintenance of testing environments, ensuring they are aligned with production environments to guarantee accurate test results.

What you’ll need to succeed

• 10 years of experience in software development and at least 4 years in quality assurance and test automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or JavaScript, Typescript, Backend development.
• Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., ArgoCD, GitLab CI).
• Experience with performance testing, security testing etc.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), as well as databases and datastores (SQL, NoSQL, etc.), is considered an asset.
• Past experience with observability, SLOs, and reliability engineering is a plus.
