Sr.Software Developer (Tealium)
Location: Pune or Bangalore, India
Tools & Technologies
Tealium iQ, Tealium EventStream / AudienceStream, Segment, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, iOS app tracking, browser developer tools, debugging/QA tools
Role Summary
Responsible for end-to-end implementation and management of tag management and digital analytics solutions across web and mobile (iOS) platforms, primarily on Tealium (client-side and server-side), along with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4. Owned projects from requirement gathering through implementation, testing, and delivery, and worked closely with stakeholders throughout.
Key Responsibilities
Tag Management & Implementation
- Implemented and managed tags, data layers, and extensions in Tealium iQ (client-side).
- Configured server-side tracking in Tealium (EventStream / AudienceStream) for data collection and routing to vendor platforms.
- Created and managed tags, triggers, and variables in Google Tag Manager.
- Implemented and supported analytics tracking for the iOS mobile app.
Analytics & Reporting
- Set up GA4 events and configurations aligned with business requirements.
- Built GA4 reports and explorations to support business insights when required.
Debugging, Testing & QA
- Debugged tracking issues using browser developer tools, Tealium tools, GTM Preview mode, GA4 DebugView, and mobile debugging tools.
- Validated data accuracy across web and app before and after releases.
- Applied testing knowledge to ensure quality of implementations across environments.
Stakeholder Management & Project Ownership
- Gathered and translated tracking requirements from business, marketing, and development teams into technical solutions.
- Took full ownership of projects, from planning and implementation to delivery and post-release support.
- Coordinated with developers, QA, and vendors to resolve issues and meet timelines.
- Provided regular updates and documentation to stakeholders.
