Description
We build a production-grade IoT-based SaaS platform designed to manage and optimize complex, real-time systems. The platform integrates data from connected devices, cloud services, and user workflows to support operational decision-making. It operates in live environments where correctness, data integrity, and predictable system behavior are critical. Quality in this context goes beyond UI testing and requires understanding workflows, data flows, and system behavior across multiple layers.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Product QA & Validation Specialist with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of complex systems. You will take active ownership of product validation, contribute to defining test coverage, and ensure features are functionally correct, logically sound, and ready for production.
Responsibilities:
- Review requirements before development to identify risks and edge cases
- Define and validate test criteria and acceptance conditions
- Perform exploratory and scenario-based testing
- Execute API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Validate data correctness using SQL (PostgreSQL)
- Verify end-to-end workflows and integrations
- Collaborate closely with engineers and product stakeholders
- Provide clear defect reports with actionable details
- Support regression testing and release validation
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience in manual QA or software testing
- Experience testing complex web-based or SaaS platforms
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies
- Hands-on experience testing REST APIs
- Confident use of SQL for data validation (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Ability to analyze requirements and define test coverage
- Experience working with acceptance criteria
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Interest in or exposure to test automation
- Experience with logs, backend systems, or cloud platforms
- Experience with data-driven or real-time systems
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
