Job Summary

Comcast is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to drive multi-state project completion efficiently within cable construction, business system solutions, and application technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating complex projects across the Central Division, ensuring alignment with business objectives and providing strategic oversight throughout the project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Drive, lead and manage complex projects from planning through execution and evaluation, ensuring timely and effective completion across multiple states.
• Strategic Oversight: Provide strategic direction and quality control throughout the project lifecycle, aligning operational plans with business objectives and contributing to functional strategy development.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders, document project deliverables, and communicate regularly with senior leaders and project team members to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.
• Risk Management: Monitor and manage project risks to ensure smooth project execution and resolve issues proactively.
• Evaluation and Reporting: Evaluate project activities, track progress, and provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Required Skills:
• Project Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with a proven record of on-time project delivery.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking mindset to address and resolve project challenges effectively.
• Communication: Adept at communicating upstream and downstream, with the ability to convey information clearly to various stakeholders.
• Negotiation: Proficient in negotiation and influencing others to achieve project goals and resolve conflicts.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring coordination and alignment across all project aspects.
• Influence: Demonstrated ability to drive multi-state project completion and implement solutions efficiently within cable construction, business system solutions, and application technology.

Preferred Qualifications:
• PMP certification
• Telecommunication construction experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Smartsheet, PowerPoint, and Excel

Working Conditions:
• This position works on-site Monday – Thursday, with Friday working remotely
• Location: Comcast office, The Battery, at 2605 Circle 75 Parkway SE, Atlanta, GA.

  • Works with various teams to layout project implementation guidelines
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of project plans.
  • Maintains project reports and distribution of project timelines.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
