DUTIES: Contribute to a team responsible for developing integrations on the Workday platform using Workday Software Development Kit and Workday Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB); build new integrations on the Core Connector Worker to send change records from Workday to other platforms; utilize MVEL for cloud integration; build data transformations on the Workday platform using XSLT; create Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) based file transmissions using Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) based file encryption; use EIB and Workday Studio to build end to end inbound flow integrations by reading data from external systems and updating to Workday; create applications within Workday Extend cloud platform using JavaScript; develop integrations and applications using MuleSoft, Java, Spring Boot, Python, and Flask; develop user interfaces using React; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; and work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing integrations on the Workday platform using Workday Software Development Kit and Workday Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB); building new integrations on the Core Connector Worker to send change records from Workday to other platforms; utilizing MVEL for cloud integration; building data transformations on the Workday platform using XSLT; creating Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) based file transmissions using Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) based file encryption; and using EIB or Workday Studio to build end to end inbound flow integrations by reading data from external systems and updating to Workday.
