Job Description

DUTIES: Contribute to a team responsible for designing and developing new software and web applications utilizing React JS, Node JS, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML; store code in GIT; work with UI/UX teams to translate wireframes guidance into Views in React; perform containerization using Docker; use Unix/Linux terminal command line in MacOS; manage project infrastructure in AWS cloud-based platform; deploy applications using Concourse and Jenkins; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; design new software and web applications; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications and roll-outs of software releases; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; and work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing software utilizing React JS, Node JS, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML5; storing code in GIT; translating wireframes guidance into Views in React; and performing containerization using Docker; of which one (1) year includes using Unix/Linux terminal command line in MacOS; managing project infrastructure in AWS cloud-based platform; and deploying applications using Jenkins.
