This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.

Role Description
This role contributes to internal strategy and roadmap for one or more areas of Xfinity Mobile wireless and new wireless growth initiatives in Comcast Emerging Wireless. Perform complex research and analysis of market, technology, standards, competitive trends and projections. Responsible for overseeing design, implementation and evaluation of future products and applications. Guides multiple engineering teams to successfully deploy and operate products and applications. Provides guidance and leadership to other researchers in developing novel ways to solve problems and discover new products. Collaborates and influences teams and works cross functionally. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. Leads teams and projects and shares expertise.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain dashboards to support and evaluate competitive threats to Comcast expansion
Manage Databricks Workspace and ensure proper usage of cloud compute resources
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Leads discussions with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
Determines relevancy of data and identifies alternative data sources as needed to ensure analytics requested by business stakeholders can be completed.
Analyzes large, complex data to determine actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting tools.
Combines data as needed from disparate data sources to complete analysis.
Communicates findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to Company executives and decision makers.
Promotes and evangelizes a culture of excellence, data driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills
Understanding of Apache Spark architecture, components, and concepts
Spark programming using languages like Python/Scala and SQL
Understanding of cluster management, configuration, and optimization in Databricks
Familiar with programming, object-oriented design, and application development skills(Python, Scala, SQL)
AWS solutions and Github
Preferred Majors: GIS, Computer Science, or related discipline
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 31, 2025 through September 19, 2025.
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Base Pay: $32.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
