Job Description

We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Android app developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. Android programming works closely with other app development and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• • Design and build apps for the Android platform
  • Work closely with the UI/UX design teams to ensure feasibility for implementation of designs
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of native Android app development experience required
• Prior experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android NDK
• Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning required
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle required
• Good understanding of the Android SKD required
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Have published multiple Android apps
• Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members
