Test & Development Engineer

Location: Ipoh, Malaysia

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• •Design and develop test software to transceiver modules
• •Development of test software with full OOP design over an existing system framework
• •Create test algorithms, instrument drivers, perform testing and documentation of test methodologies 

 

Job Requirements:

• •Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Software Engineering VB.NET/Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
• •Knowledge in Basic Electronics and programming languages
• •Minimum 3 years working experience in test software engineering or related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• •Able to work under minimum supervision with tight datelines

Job Description: Senior Test & Development Engineer Job Requirements: • Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Software Engineering • C#/VB.NET/Object Oriented Programming (OOP) • Knowledge in Basic Electronics • Minimum 3 years working experience in related job • Experience in Optical transceiver testing is preferred but not required. • Strong test hardware equipment development, integration or automation. • Able to work under minimum supervision with tight datelines • Able to travel to different Coherent sites like Ipoh, Thailand CM, China, US • Willing to undertake training in Ipoh for at least 3 months or longer depending on performance. • Willing to work after office hours or during weekend when needed. • Proficient in English.
