Technician/Associate Engineer I- Test/Setup/Debug

Location: Ipoh, Malaysia

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• To assist the Test & Development Engineer in terms of setup, debug and test.
• Support for Test and Development Engineer evaluations, projects and analysis, test verifications / qualifications and Support on debug on failure and analysis.
• Scrap Cost Monitoring by Product.
• Ensure compliance to Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
• Derive Continual Improvement. Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
• Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc. 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

• Diploma / bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Optoelectronics or Telecommunications). 
• Experience in optical device testing/debug/repair/setup related industry and in mass production environment is advantage. 
• Familiar with basic knowledge and principle of optical devices and electronic/electric. 
• Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc 
• With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information/ data.
• Familiar with circuit diagrams and a strong background in Electronics. 
• Familiarity with electrical/electronic/optic test instruments. 
• Experience in troubleshooting PCBA preferred. 
• Can work independently and work with support teams as needed
