QA shift Supervisor

Location: Perai, Penang, Malaysia

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate QA inspectors and technicians during assigned shifts.
• Ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
• Support production activities by providing timely quality decisions and issue resolution.
• Monitor quality performance metrics and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead containment, investigation, and disposition of non-conforming materials.
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures, work instructions, and audit requirements.
• Conduct training, coaching, and performance management for QA team members.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to improve quality and operational efficiency.
• Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Able to work 3 rotating shifts

 

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Admin / Economics / IE / Production Management and related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in a high-volume high mix production environment managing production with at least 3 years in supervisory position.

Skills

• Experience working with Oracle/ ERP/ SAP/ MRP tools.
• Experience working on lean manufacturing and quality improvement projects.
• Computer software knowledge etc, especially in Microsoft Office.
• Special knowledge: ISO and QA knowledge/QC inspection.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
  

Working Conditions

• This role is 100% onsite.

• Willing to run 3 rotating shift (12 hours shift)
