Intern, Mechanical Engineering

Location: Saxonburg, PA, United States

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide Engineering design and drafting support
  • Design robust engineering solutions to customer problems
  • Conduct simulations under a experienced engineer
  • Conduct product testing, quality control & inspection 
  • Help identify solutions to supply chain issues
  • Manage new product orders from start to finish
  • Provide change management solutions to operations

Education & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing a degree in engineering.

Provide Design/Drafting Engineering Support at the direction of designer, engineer or manufacturing process engineer as assigned to meet the requirements of the project. Work from sketches, drawings or verbal instructions to produce working drawings, and provide design solutions. Preform detailed drafting, generating parts list, including fabricated and purchased parts and develops manufacturing drawings. Perform mechanical and optical tests in a lab environment as required.
