About the Role
We’re looking for experienced full stack design engineers who thrive in fast-moving startups, and are excited to set the standard UX for how developers will interact with coding agents.
You’ll work closely with other engineers, the product and go-to-market teams at Cognition, and our design partners.
In this role, you will:
Build!
Design performant, beautiful, and usable interfaces that developers love
Perfect the details of interacting with coding agents to set the standard UX for agent products
Advocate for our users and novel ideas by continuously iterating on and improving the product experience
Plan and deploy front end infrastructure necessary to build, test, and deploy the Devin app
Own the end-to-end development from design concept to implementing server-side logic and integrating with databases using backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java)
Create and maintain RESTful APIs to connect frontend and backend systems
Contribute more broadly to Devin’s development
Requirements for the role:
Demonstrate a track record of exceptional achievements and impactful contributions in your academic and/or professional experiences
Thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments — you’re willing to move fast and quickly grow in scope and responsibility
You have a demonstrated exceptional ability to learn
You have experience building production web apps at scale using TypeScript, NextJS , React, JavaScript, CSS and other web technologies
