Role and responsibilities

  • Support ETL engineers with your SAP subject matter expertise enable them to successfully deliver SAP integrations
  • Contribute hands-on to sharpen the SAP integration of Cognite’s data platform
  • Be actively involved in product and technical decisions.
  • Work closely with our skilled users to understand their needs and build the SAP source system support they need into our products

We believe most of these should match your experience

  • You have hands-on experience with SAP NetWeaver Gateway (OData Gateway in SAP) 
  • You have hands-on experience with SAP SOAP framework
  • You have basic experience using SAP ABAP
  • You have a solid understanding of SAP : S/4 HANA
  • You have experience with ETL workflows
  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer, ideally in the field of SAP integrations
  • You have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a natural science field, such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • You have a solid grasp of Python or any other backend programming language.

Additional experience that is an advantage, but not required

  • SAP functional knowledge, such as using SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
  • Knowledge integrating with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)  and SAP CloudConnect 
  • Experience with cloud development, which may include Kubernetes, Docker or other related technologies. Familiarity with Azure, AWS and GCP.
  • Experience in process industry projects

Echo Jobs has been exceptional in my job hunt where it provides one platform to job hunt and I don't have to open 10 websites just to look for a job. It has also helped me focus much on the job skill and the location filtering out the onsite jobs and remote ones. The only feature that I would request is to display fully remote jobs that are not restricted to a country since the one available shows ie, Remote, US yet.
