Database Administrator
Experience: 5+
POSITION OVERVIEW:
· Database development, deployment, and code review.
· Administration and maintenance of MySQL, MSSQL, and various other databases.
· Troubleshooting and performance monitoring of internal DB's.
· Perform database migrations and upgrades as needed.
· Implement and manage security measures to protect sensitive data.
· Collaborate with other areas of IT to design and implement efficient database schemas and troubleshoot performance issues of existing code.
· Participate in on-call support for database-related incidents.
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for any database-related issues.
· Ensure database security by applying best practices.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Proficient in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report development.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to details.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
· Excellent communication skills (oral and written) English: C1 Advanced.
- Experience with Power BI is preferred.
