About the Role
We are looking for an Application Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of complex, data-intensive desktop applications and mission-critical operational systems. This role involves building high-performance software solutions and integrating native C++ components into C# environments, working on challenging and impactful projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex desktop applications and operational systems.
- Build scalable, high-performance, data-intensive software solutions.
- Integrate and maintain native C++ components within C# applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize software solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications to improve performance and reliability.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and maintenance.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in C#/.NET development
- Familiarity with C++ for integrating native modules into C# applications
- Strong understanding of spatial concepts, including coordinate systems, map projections, and geospatial data structures
- Experience with mapping engines
- Experience developing desktop applications using WPF
- Experience working with GitLab and CI/CD processes
Advantages
- Experience with SQL databases
- Experience in networking programming / distributed systems
- Familiarity with Artifactory and NuGet package management
- Experience with OGC standards
- Experience in command-and-control (C2), defense, or real-time monitoring systems
- Experience optimizing performance in UI-heavy applications
- Experience integrating external data feeds (sensors, telemetry, etc.)
