We have an open role with one of our established clients based in Oranmore, Galway. This role presents a chance to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team, committed to delivering excellence and innovation as they transform their business and undertake a cloud transformation program of work.
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving aptitude, present strong leadership capabilities and be proficient in both verbal and written communications.
Codec supports Hybrid working and flexible working arrangements for staff, however, on-site working is required as part of this role. Role Summary:
As a Software Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing complex software systems that are foundational to our client's success. You will leverage your expertise in MVC .NET, SQL Server, and Angular to build scalable, high-performance applications. Working within an Agile environment, you will embrace the Scrum framework to ensure timely delivery of projects, while championing best practices in Cloud Applications, Test best practice and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust software systems using MVC .NET, SQL Server, and Angular, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Implement Agile methodologies to streamline development and delivery processes.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, enhancing automation and deployment efficiency.
- Employ best practice Testing approaches for code refactoring and quality improvement, ensuring the highest code standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal clients to design and develop tailored business applications that meet and exceed requirements.
- Contribute to project planning and provide regular status reports, ensuring transparency and effective communication across teams.
