Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Mobile Developer with 12+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years in mobile application development and 4+ years of hands-on experience with React Native. The ideal candidate is a technical leader capable of architecting and delivering high-quality mobile experiences across multiple restaurant brands. You will be responsible for defining and implementing scalable engineering practices, building reusable components, and driving a consistent mobile technology strategy across both iOS and Android platforms. In this role, you will work closely with product, UX, QA, backend, and business stakeholders to translate brand and customer needs into reliable, performant, and scalable mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture and Development: Lead the design and hands-on delivery of mobile applications using React Native. Ensure all solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise goals.

• Multi-Brand Strategy: Architect mobile experiences for multiple restaurant brands. Balance shared capabilities with the specific requirements of each brand to ensure a tailored customer experience.

• Engineering Excellence: Define and implement coding standards, architecture patterns, and development best practices to improve team efficiency and technical governance.

• Reusable Components: Drive the development and adoption of reusable modules and shared frameworks to reduce redundancy and accelerate feature delivery across the mobile portfolio.

• Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on contribution through development, code reviews, and debugging. Mentor engineers and guide the technical direction of the team.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, QA, and backend teams in an agile environment to ensure smooth integration, testing, and release planning.

• Performance and Quality: Monitor and improve application performance, stability, and reliability. Address platform-specific challenges and ensure operational excellence for production environments.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 12+ years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in mobile development.

• Technical Skills: 4+ years of hands-on experience with React Native.

• Leadership: Proven experience as a hands-on technical leader, with the ability to manage architecture decisions, enforce standards, and mentor team members.

• Scalability: Strong understanding of modular architecture, reusable design patterns, and shared component strategies.

• Platforms: Demonstrated success delivering and supporting mobile products across both iOS and Android.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish to support diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
