- Design, deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure DevOps Server / TFS environments.
- Support upgrades from TFS or earlier Azure DevOps Server versions, and migrations to Azure DevOps Services where appropriate.
- Manage project collections, build and release infrastructure, agents, repositories, permissions, backup and recovery, performance, availability, and operational reliability.
- Integrate on-premises DevOps platforms with Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, networking, identity, security, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Provide hands-on guidance across Azure Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Test Plans.
- Design Git workflows, branching strategies, pull-request practices, and enterprise repository standards.
- Provide working-level support for GitHub Enterprise Cloud or Server and GitHub Actions when required by the engagement.
- Lead modernization from legacy development tooling to Azure DevOps Services, including hybrid and staged migration approaches.
- Apply GitHub or GitHub Enterprise knowledge where it complements the customer’s Azure DevOps strategy.
- Support GitHub Actions and GitHub security capabilities when required, without making GitHub the core specialization of the role.
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure.
- Create reusable YAML pipeline templates, automation standards, validation controls, and release practices.
- Use PowerShell, Bash, or Python and apply infrastructure-as-code practices with ARM, Bicep, or Terraform where appropriate.
- Implement DevSecOps controls such as security scanning, secrets management, access controls, traceability, and compliance-aligned delivery practices.
- Lead workshops, assessments, proofs of concept, pilots, production deployments, and technical remediation activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to technical and business stakeholders in complex and security-sensitive environments.
- Lead troubleshooting, escalation management, and root-cause analysis, with clear documentation and action plans.
- Collaborate with CSAMs, Global Delivery teams, partners, product engineering, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Server / TFS in enterprise production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Services, including repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of GitHub or GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
- Experience designing and operating CI/CD across hybrid or on-premises environments.
- Strong knowledge of Git; familiarity with TFVC is required for legacy Azure DevOps Server environments.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, networking, identity, and platform dependencies.
- Scripting experience with YAML and at least one of PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience in customer-facing technical delivery, including troubleshooting and stakeholder communication.
- Fluent English, spoken and written.
- Fluent Swedish, spoken and written, due to the customer environment.
- Swedish citizenship and eligibility to undergo the applicable Swedish security-clearance process.
- Ability to work onsite in Sweden and travel when required.
- Experience with public-sector, defense, classified, or other highly regulated environments.
- Experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, or GitHub Advanced Security.
- Knowledge of Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes / AKS, Helm, GitOps, monitoring, logging, or API integrations.
- Experience with Power Platform ALM and CI/CD is a plus, but not required.
- Relevant certification such as AZ-400 or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- High integrity, discretion, accountability, and respect for confidentiality requirements.
- Strong ownership and ability to work independently in complex or ambiguous environments.
- Practical problem-solving mindset with a balance of architecture, hands-on delivery, and operations.
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuous-learning mindset and willingness to work across cloud and on-premises technologies.
