šĀ About the Role
We are looking for aĀ Senior Data EngineerĀ with a passion forĀ Data Warehousing, AI research and API developmentĀ to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance APIs and contributing to AI/ML research and implementation. You will work closely with data scientists, researchers, and product teams to design and deploy intelligent systems that power our next-generation applications.
š ļøĀ Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintainĀ Python-based APIsĀ for AI/ML models and services and data pipelines
- Collaborate with AI researchers toĀ implement and optimize machine learning models interfacing with data warehouse
- ConductĀ researchĀ into new AI/ML techniques and evaluate their applicability to business problems
- BuildĀ RESTful and GraphQL APIsĀ using frameworks likeĀ FastAPI,Ā Flask, orĀ Django REST Framework
- WriteĀ clean, testable, and maintainable Python codeĀ with a focus on performance and scalability
- Participate inĀ code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to best practices
- Integrate AI models with backend systems and frontend applications
- Stay up-to-date withĀ AI/ML trends, Python libraries (e.g.,Ā PyTorch,Ā TensorFlow,Ā Scikit-learn), and API design patterns
- Work in anĀ agile environment, delivering high-quality software in iterative sprints
šĀ Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degreeĀ in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 4 + years of professional experienceĀ in software development, withĀ 3 + years in Python
- Strong experience withĀ Python web frameworksĀ (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django)
- Hands-on experienceĀ withĀ AI/ML model deploymentĀ and integration
- Familiarity withĀ machine learning librariesĀ such asĀ TensorFlow,Ā PyTorch, orĀ Scikit-learn
- Experience withĀ API design and development, including REST and GraphQL
- Solid understanding ofĀ software architecture,Ā design patterns, andĀ best practices
- ExcellentĀ problem-solving skillsĀ and attention to detail
- StrongĀ communication skillsĀ and the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team
- Bonus: Experience withĀ Docker,Ā Kubernetes,Ā CI/CD pipelines, andĀ cloud platformsĀ (AWS, GCP, Azure)
