The Search & Integrations team is building the next-generation infrastructure and product to unify your working world. You can think of it as the missing filesystem for the cloud, letting you search, browse and edit things, regardless of which app things live in U(i.e. Google Drive, Github, Figma, Salesforce, HubSpot etc.)
 
We’re looking to work with experienced, creative engineers who can not only deliver solutions, but can also identify the problems we should solve.
 
We don’t expect you to have a background in everything we use, but we do expect strong engineering fundamentals and some experience working with technologies in our stack (Typescript, Node, Postgres, Redis, React, AWS).
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Build features and systems with attention to detail and performance.
  • Own end-to-end development, from conception to production.
  • Engineer not only solutions but also tools to understand the problem.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a world-class product.
  • Identify and implement improvements to our existing systems.
  • Help establish a fun, fulfilling, world-class engineering culture.
 
Key Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent major.
  • 6+ years of experience engineering performant and high-throughput systems (preferably on Node.js)
  • You write high quality code (ideally in TypeScript) and are uniquely productive.
  • You have a track record of building performant, high-throughput systems.
  • You have experience working with relational databases at scale (ideally Postgres)
  • You have experience with major cloud services (ideally AWS).
  • You are an empathetic communicator.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and have consistently delivered projects with little direction.
  • You are product-minded and have a good intuition on what a great user experience looks like.
