About the Role: 
This customer-facing role requires the ability to communicate technical information engagingly. In other words, the role involves being a technical storyteller. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will present CleverTap’s differentiated value proposition to prospects, enabling revenue primarily from new business. Internally, this role collaborates and partners with Sales, Product and Customer Success teams to deliver high business impact. This hybrid work role requires being in the office at least twice weekly. It will involve some travel (client locations and industry events) across Europe, at most 40% at peak times. 

What you will do:
- Obsessed with solving client problems. Passionate in closing new business through the presentation of powerful value proposition that appeals to senior technical and non-technical client leaders.
- Qualify client goals by understanding their MarTech ecosystem and effectively articulate how CleverTap can bring value to them.
- Embrace and implement the concept of 'value-based selling'. Adopt and Implement CleverTaps presales process.
- Work alongside Account Executives  to build and adapt the required sales strategies to win over the clients. Take the lead and centre stage in platform demonstrations, Proof of Concept presentations (POC), and RFP responses. Help clients build a business case where required.
- Work with the onboarding and integration teams to ensure successful POCs through understanding and management of success criteria, planning and execution.
- Distil and advocate client interests, needs and product feedback to Product Management, Marketing and Sales.
- Maintaining awareness of the product roadmap and new product features to evangelise with clients and provide their feedback to product management teams
- Prepare a repository of standard and customised technical solutions, value propositions and use cases. 
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Product and Engineering teams to brainstorm solutions that best impact the client's use cases and industry segments.   
- Be up-to-date on the challenges faced by B2C marketers with respect to user retention and engagement.
- Maintain excellent organisational skills and ability to work with varied clients requiring switching contexts frequently.
- Present CleverTap’s value proposition at industry events and prospect events. 

What are we looking for? 
Must-Have: 
- At least 5 years of experience in a sales/solutions engineering role. Experience in the B2B SaaS space focussed on mid and large enterprise clients
- A firm understanding of enterprise integration methodologies, best practices and API/SDK architecture
- You have domain knowledge of two or more of the following:  SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Direct Marketing, Marketing Analytics or Programming (even just HTML)
- Experience running Proof of Concepts with a high conversion rate
- Additional good to have: Background in Customer Success or technical pre-sales of digital techniques such as ad platforms and networks and/or marketing automation.

- New business booking and ARR
