Founding Product Engineer

About the Role

Join an early-stage team building AI-powered regulatory and product compliance software for manufacturers and retailers. As a Founding Product Engineer, you will work closely with engineers and users to turn product priorities into useful, shipped features and help shape the product as it evolves.

What You'll Do

• Turn the product roadmap into working software and deliver measurable value for users.

• Speak directly with users to understand their needs and inform product direction.

• Maintain, refactor, and scale the codebase as the product develops.

• Use AI agents as a regular part of your software development workflow.

What We're Looking For

• A track record of shipping software products to end users.

• Technical work experience or a strong academic background in computer science or a related field.

• A user-centered product mindset, with the ability to understand problems and identify needs that apply across customers.

• Fluency in German and English.

• Experience with TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Early-stage startup, B2B SaaS, LegalTech, RegTech, or AI/ML experience is helpful.

• An entrepreneurial approach and comfort working in a fast-moving environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: €65,000 to €75,000 annually.

Location

Hybrid, based in Munich, Germany, with an expectation of four days per week in the office.
