Project Engineer – Rooftop Solar

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and interpret GFC drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
• Prepare project work schedules in coordination with the Project Manager and maintain all required project documentation.
• Monitor and control project timelines in line with planned construction activities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the site execution team.
• Coordinate with client SPOCs to obtain permits, approvals, and execution clearances.
• Maintain close coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Submit daily project progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards at site.
• Travel extensively across West India including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Goa, as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in rooftop solar project execution.
• Strong understanding of rooftop solar systems, site execution, and project coordination.
• Good knowledge of construction planning, project scheduling, and documentation.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across project locations.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with safety and quality practices in solar projects.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in fast-paced project environments.
• Experience in handling commercial & industrial rooftop solar projects will be an added advantage.
