Team Lead, Software Engineering

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

• At least 5 years of experience in Java development and SQL databases 

• At least 2 years team management 

• At least 2 years of experience working in Linux environment 

• Education (Bachelor's degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, or related degree or at least 4 years of equivalent relevant experience) 

It would be great if you also had . . .  

• Previous experience with MongoDB 

• Previous experience with AWS cloud services 

• Experience working in Scrum Development process 

• Education (master’s degree or PhD) 

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Lead technical discussions, facilitate code reviews, and drive innovation. 

• Oversee day-to-day operations and lead a team of colleagues 

• Actively involved and hands-on with writing clean, maintainable code 

• Regularly evaluate team performance, and technical capabilities, provide colleague feedback 

• Implement design changes to improve quality, performance, cost reduction, etc. 

• Plan, delegate and direct the team’s day-to-day work to achieve operational targets  

Product you will be developing  

Maintain existing code base. Ingest Trademark Content from countries all over the world. 
Other Clarivate teams are using this content in their products 

About the Team 

The team is geographically spread out. We have developers in Macedonia, Serbia and India. 
We’re working closely together with internal stakeholders in Antwerp as well as other teams with members located in Antwerp, Eastern Europe, US and India 

Hours of Work  

Full time permanent position. 2 days per week at the office - hybrid model.

1 Saturday every 6-7 weeks
