Sr QA Engineer

We are looking for a Senior QA who will be responsible for identifying test scenarios and writing and executing test scripts of moderate complexity. Evaluates risk and defects and conducts general root cause analysis. Works independently within an established framework. The person will implement test automation and conduct a wide range of quality control tests, trials and analyses across systems and applications to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end user requirements. Drafts, revises and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and software strategy.  

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• At least bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or engineering
• Experience writing and maintaining integration test cases. 
• At least 2 years of QA Automation Testing experience.

What will you be doing in this role?

Designs, implements, executes, and debugs/fixes automated tests of moderate complexity.

• Identifies risk and develops and implements mitigation plans under general supervision.

• Configures regression framework to run against different instances.

• Estimates effort required for given story or task.

• Provides inputs and escalates issues in bug triage meetings and coordinates with development team.

• Uses developing skills to conduct root cause analysis, escalating significantly complex issues as necessary.

• Provides support and mentorship to team members.

About the team:

The Clinical Trials Investigators QA team focuses on ensuring the quality of a large variety of projects like Data science output validation, Databricks database testing, Datalake validation, end to end integration, and admin system testing.  This involves functional testing, regression testing, automated testing, and continuous integration testing. A strong QA process leads to a more reliable product or service, which enhances the user experience and builds trust with customers. Clinical trial Squad consists of 12 people which includes Frontend Dev, Backend Dev, Product Manager, QA Manager, SA and Testers
