Join Our Team as a Software Development Engineer! 

Are you passionate about coding and excited to lead the development of scalable cloud systems? Do you thrive on working with multiple programming languages? If so, we want you on our Incites B&A (Benchmarking & Analytics) Application Development team in India! Join us in building and maintaining our innovative Data Benchmarking and Analytics platform. 

We are seeking an experienced professional who is highly motivated to become a Full Stack developer. We need someone with expertise in Java, Spring and REST, who enjoys exploring other areas like UI, Devops and what not. 

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

  • Proficient in Java, Spring Boot and JUnit testing.

  • Strong knowledge of code improvement and optimization .

  • High motivation to self-learn or be an expert in any of the below technologies - Angular, Typescript, Groovy, Elasticsearch  

It Would Be Great If You Also Have: 

  • A keen interest in code review and analysis 

  • A quick learning ability to adapt to any programming language 

  • Experience with web UI and browser developer tools (AWS ECS, REST API, Angular, JavaScript, Docker, TypeScript, Groovy, Jenkins, Sonar )

  • Experience with Elasticsearch or NoSQL databases 

 

What Will You Be Doing in This Role? 

  • Be a sought-after full stack technologist who can analyze code and solve problems independently 
  • Deliver robust products 
  • Mentoring, documenting and coaching team members as needed.
  • Identifying and solving problematic areas with innovative solutions
  • Reviewing the existing application codebase and recommending improvements.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with coding standards.
  • Works closely with higher-level engineers to increase functional knowledge.
  • Learn and apply best practices in software development.
  • Develops and applies understanding of software development lifecycle and delivery methodology.
  • Suggests alternative methodologies or techniques to achieving desired results.
  • Maintains awareness of technical advances.
  • Manually tests and unit tests all assigned applications.
  • Participates as a team member on various engineering projects.
  • Writes application technical documentation.
  • Follows team policies, procedures, and work instructions.

About the Team: 

The Incites B&A Development team consists of multiple squads working on various initiatives, from application UI/API to data testing, enhancing data quality, and optimizing application performance for our customers. 

Hours of Work: 

  • Full-time 
  • 45 hours per week 
  • Hybrid working model
