We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Data Engineering Team in Bangalore. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer with expertise in Informatica, Oracle, and AWS Data Engineering stacks to join our dynamic Product Usage team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data engineering, with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and solutions.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- At least 2+ years of professional experience in data engineering, with a focus on ETL processes and data integration.
- Experience in Informatica, Oracle Database and AWS
What will you be doing in this role?
- Design, develop, and implement robust ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
- Architect and build data warehouses, data lakes on Oracle platforms, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle database technologies, including Oracle Database, and SQL/PLSQL programming.
- Strong proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter, with hands-on experience in designing and developing complex ETL workflows and mappings.
- Understanding of AWS data engineering services, such as AWS Glue, AWS Data Pipeline, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon S3 is an added advantage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand data needs, and design appropriate data models and solutions.
- Optimize and tune existing ETL processes and data pipelines for improved performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Work closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
About the team:
This is an amazing opportunity to work on AWS cloud-based Architecture with CICD deployment. The team consists of 14 members and we have a great skill set in the areas of Java, Aws Lambda, Redshift, AppFlow, Glue, Kinesis, Bigdata, Athena, CloudFormation, Informatica, Oracle and ETL/ELT framework expertise.
