Job Description
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role provides a challenging and interesting opportunity to work on innovative products, that serve both external and internal customers. We would love to speak with you if you have experience in and would love to work with tools such as AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, Containers and have some scripting skills.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 5 Years of Relevant Experience
Excellent understanding of SDLC processes, building and releasing applications in cloud infrastructures
Good knowledge on Linux system administration
Good knowledge on AWS
Good knowledge on Automation processes and tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Scripting, Conatiners etc..)
Knowledge on software architectures based on microservices (autoscaling, service discovery, etc..)
Knowledge on supporting Java applications
Knowledge on Docker
It would be great if you also had . . .
Knowledge on Kubernetes
Knowledge on Data warehousing software products like Apache Druid
What will you be doing in this role?
As a part of the DevOps Team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining automation processes to build and deploy infrastructures and applications in AWS using a standard CI/CD model along with Production Operations.
Automate everything will be your passion.
You will be working in a dynamic environment within a well-established DevOps Team using exciting technologies and modern practices (Cloud, Docker, Continuous Integration and Delivery, Infrastructure-as-a-Code).
You will be also supporting incident resolutions and influencing other teams to adopt the DevOps culture.
Your key responsibilities
Responsible for Software Delivery Automation processes in AWS (CI/CD)
Responsible for Infrastructure Delivery Automation processes in AWS (Infrastructure-as-a-code)
Spread the DevOps culture in the company.
Evaluate new technologies as opportunity to improve.
Collaborate in the design of modern Software Architectures
Participate in production problems resolution.
Responsible for Production Operations.
Monitor submitted tickets; assign, escalate and communicate, as required.
Interact with development teams to get things done efficiently and effectively.
keep consistent documentation as part of any task assigned.
