Description

We are looking for a highly motivated real world evidence (RWE) data scientist who has experience in generating insights/evidence from claims and EHR real world data (RWD) to join our growing Bangalore-based RWE analytics team at Clarivate.

What will you be doing in this role?

You will support the execution and delivery of custom analytics solutions for customers and work with our internal teams on next generation RWE solutions.  Specifically, you will:

  • Serve as a biostatistics and modeling resource on Clarivate’s customer-facing RWE custom analytics project teams
  • Provide statistical and modeling support on observational research, HEOR, and RWE studies for Clarivate’s pharma, medtech and biotechnology clients
  • Contribute to the development of machine learning and other advanced analytics solutions for improving RWD-based analytics and evidence/insight generation
  • Contribute to the analytics infrastructure build of RWE insights managed service offerings for our clients
  • Follow organizational processes & best practices, ensuring client satisfaction throughout engagements

Minimum experience, education, skills

  • Graduate/ postgraduate degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, health informatics, economics, data science, or equivalent quantitative field.
  • At least 5 years of industry experience utilizing RWD (US healthcare claims, EHR, registries etc.) for observational research studies and evidence/insights generation or experience in applied biostatistics, epidemiology or equivalent, especially in observational research, HEOR, and RWE generation.
  • Training or coursework in experimental/clinical/epidemiologic study design
  • Experience and/or training/coursework in data visualization and data storytelling
  • Skilled in SQL and Python. R is a plus
  • Experience with git version control and related tools (e.g. Bitbucket)

It would be great if you also had..

  • Masters or PhD
  • Training or coursework in machine learning and other advanced analytics methods
  • Some experience in dev ops, ML ops, and building scalable analytics workflows
  • Familiarity with common pharma/medtech product commercialization use cases, including market access, commercial targeting, and patient journey/LOT among others.

About the team

We are a highly motivated team of 20+ analytics, biostatistics, epidemiology, and data science professionals distributed across three countries, working together to provide analytics and insights using Clarivate’s RWD product for pharmaceutical, biopharma, and medtech clients.

Hours of work

  • You will be expected to work on a work schedule (12: 00 PM IST to 9:00 PM IST) to provide for reasonable hours of collaborative work with the US team and there could be a slight extension on an as-needed basis.
