Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for Lead  to join our Software Development team in Seoul Korea. This is an amazing opportunity within the organizations, reporting to the Team Manager.   Designs, develops, codes and customizes software applications from product conception to end user interface. Analyzes and understands customer requirements and preferences, incorporating these into the design and development process.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 6 Years of Relevant Experience

It would be great if you also had . . .  

• Those with experience working in the IP (patent) industry
• Working experiences of Azure cloud or Understand Azure cloud

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Definition of new functional requirements for (web) program implementation
• Requirements analysis/design, program implementation, launch, maintenance
• Confirmation of data generated during program operation, and prompt action for improvement points and failures
• Generate statistical data for the generated data, analyze logs, data mining, SQL modification, etc.
• Maintenance that can be operated stably   

Job Responsibilities:

• More than 3 years of experience in computerized languages (.NET, JAVA, etc.)
• More than 3 years of experience in using databases (MS-SQL)
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with coding standards.
• Review other code to ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Define architecture of software solution.
• Implements software for specifications of high complexity for limited scale systems, or medium to high complexity for large-scale systems.
• Implements design changes to improve quality, performance, cost reduction, and standardization through analysis of designs and problem-solving techniques.
• Responds to direct or indirect customer inquiries regarding function and design and attends customer meetings.
• Design and implement alternative methodologies or techniques to achieving desired results.
• Maintains understanding of software development lifecycle and delivery methodology.
• Providing guidance for new procedures as needed for the continuing development of high quality systems.
• Provides technical training to other team members.
• Participates in the creation, implementation and administration of departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Maintains knowledge of technical advances and evaluates new hardware / software for company use.
• Automate tests and unit tests all assigned applications.
• Participates as a team member on various engineering projects and may lead small projects.
• Writes application technical documentation.
• Experiences with Agile framework similar like Scrum
• Fluent in English (Must Have)
• Possess communication skills, smooth interpersonal relationships, and a service mind

Hours of Work  

40 hour per week, Full time permanent position based in Seoul, Korea
