 We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Collecto a new product supporting the Ex Libris-Alma platform (part of Clarivate) team consists of 4 people and reports to the Team Manager.

This is an amazing opportunity to take part in developing a new product. We have a great skill set in Java development, full stack-oriented, and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in Java and Angular. 

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development

  • 5 years of experience with front-end development, Angular would be an advantage 

  • Education bachelor's degree in computer science, OR Equivalent degree.

It would be great if you also had . . .  

  •  Experience in Web application development - advantage 

  • Knowledge and experience with REST, JEE technologies, Oracle DB – advantage

  • Familiarity with Unix / Linux – advantage

  • High level of English 

What will you be doing in this role? 

  • Feature Development: Design, develop, and implement new features using Java, SQL, and Angular.

  • Testing: Conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality and functionality of the developed features.

  • End-to-end development phase from initial design to final deployment (E2E).

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The product you will be developing 

Collecto is a new product that focuses on providing a complete collection development solution for Alma customers built upon the Ex Libris Alma platform.  

This position is for a senior full-stack programmer who will help develop the product.

The team is in Jerusalem with 3 team members and the team manager
