We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer (Java & GCP/AWS/Azure) to join our Darts-IP team in Belgrade. If you are passionate about software development and have a strong background in Java and Cloud technologies, this is a perfect opportunity for you!
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java and Spring
- 3+ years of experience using Cloud technologies (ideally GCP)
- 3+ years of experience in a variety of DB systems: MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar
It would be great if you also had . . .
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Good understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with Angular or other popular JavaScript frameworks
What will you be doing in this role?
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with coding standards
- Review other code to ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Defines architecture of software solution
- Suggests alternative methodologies or techniques to achieve desired results.
- Reviews and revises new procedures as needed for the continuing development of high-quality systems
- Automate tests and unit tests for all assigned applications.
- Writes application technical documentation
- Continuously lead the improvement and innovation

Darts-ip is a comprehensive IP cases database solution that helps you assess risks, understand trends, spot opportunities & make confident decisions. With more than 10 million cases, our AI powered database is the de-facto global source of case law information in the field of Intellectual Property (patents, trademarks, etc). Darts-ip's core mission is to make global Intellectual Property case law available and easily searchable for our customers through a SaaS application.

Hours of Work
This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone.
This is a hybrid position, you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
