Lead Software Engineer-Full Stack(Java+ Angular)

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Technology team at Clarivate. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to work with the latest technologies and Cloud-native solutions featuring micro-service and API driven architecture.

About You – experience, education, skills and accomplishments 

• Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science or related field with good communication and analytical skills.

• At least 5+ years of experience developing web-based applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate and related technologies.

• At least 5+ of experience with React or Angular, Node JS, and Typescript. Proven track record in implementing micro frontend patterns to enable independent development and deployment of UI components.

• At least 5+ years of experience with integration of enterprise software systems, delivering end-to-end SaaS applications and highly scalable software products.

• Extensive experience in building containerized applications and deploying to public or private clouds, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or similar providers.

• Good understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.

• Experience with relational databases and database design using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, No-SQL based database systems, etc.

What will you be doing in this role? 

Overall, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the development projects and achieving business objectives through innovative and efficient software development practices. Understand the impact of architecture and hosting strategies on technical design and apply industry best practices in software development.  

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing and deployment.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.

• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests that are part of an automated Continuous Integration pipeline.

• Work closely with other teams (e.g., QA, Product) to release high-quality software.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development, testing, and production.

• Stay up to date with new technologies and trends in software development.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time opportunity with Clarivate. 9 hours per day including lunch break. You should be flexible working hours to align with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
