Commercial Policy Analyst entry level (US shift) R155-Belgrade

We a for a Commercial Policy Analyst to join our global team. This is an amazing opportunity to work with ProQuest, one of Clarivate’s flagship brands!  The role reports to the Manager of Commercial Policy will work with our sales teams to manage approvals and pricing. We would love to speak with you if you have experience creating pricing tools and analyzing large, complex data sets to provide guidance to sales colleagues and the business on pricing and deal structuring.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

• Strong initiative, business acumen, problem-solving ability, and sense of ownership when working on high profile, complex deals
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in commercial deal support and/or pricing analytics
• Strong MS Office & Salesforce Skills
• Bachelor’s degree required.

We are looking for a Customer Care Advisor (US shift) to join our Patent Intelligent Search Analytics team working in the Belgrade Centre of Excellence. This is an amazing opportunity to work on/Innography /Derwent Innovation products within the Customer Care Department. We have a great skill set in Belgrade Centre of Excellence and we would love to speak with you if you have excellent spoken and written English, have a positive and friendly demeanor, great problem-solving skills, and both confidence and poise in all customer interactions.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments ​

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Analytical, troubleshooting and decision-making skills 
• Excellent writing, phone handling, communication and problem-solving skills 
• Exceptional English language skills including a clear, crisp, easily understood, direct but pleasant communication style 
• Have keen interest in problem solving and diagnosis.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask and while maintaining a sense of urgency

• Good analytical, verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills due to the number of internal customers you will support.

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Price Modelling and Deal Structuring: Support in building price models and structuring deals across Clarivate’s product lines by conducting detailed customer product holdings analysis.
• Stakeholder management: Own relationship with product managers and establish themselves as a pricing expert for key product and customer segments to apply pricing and product policy to commercial deals to support the sales organization.
• Product management support: Provide technical and business product management support for internal pricing system and tools, including creation and maintenance of software solutions (pricing calculators in excel or other tools) and pricing databases.
• Understand market and competitive dynamics at high level for selected product and customer segments to inform best practice when supporting deals.

Product you will be supporting

ProQuest is a key business for Clarivate, and we are looking for a pricing analyst who understands the subscription business model and can quickly and efficiently analyze data to support pricing and deal requests, maintain and create new pricing tools and perform a diverse array of ad hoc analysis and reporting as required in this fast-moving business.

About the Team   

We work collaboratively with all areas of our business to ensure alignment between market competitiveness, and profitability of all Clarivate products including access to various content via subscriptions and/or the software tools to support every facet of research. Team consists of 6 people globally. We are a key member of the Go-To-Market strategy and can impact the success of the sales and support teams – and ultimately, deliver excellent value to our customers.

Hours of Work  

This is a full-time role working primarily US business hours (2 PM - 11 PM CET) .

This is a full-time remote position working 5 days a week.
