Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while ensuring the successful execution of clinical trial projects. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead study planning, setup, monitoring, and closeout activities to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Gather customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams to translate needs into effective project execution plans.

  • Develop and maintain study documentation, reports, and operational deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Manage the distribution and tracking of study equipment and materials.

  • Archive study data and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships while setting and managing expectations throughout project execution.

  • Monitor study timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure adherence to contractual commitments.

  • Manage financial aspects of projects, including budget reviews, revenue forecasting, scope changes, and invoice reconciliation.

  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues appropriately to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Lead internal and external discussions to support collaboration, effective communication, and timely project execution.

  • Apply structured problem-solving techniques to address customer concerns and ensure timely resolution of escalations.

  • Serve as the project management point of contact for operational readiness activities related to new product initiatives.

  • Present study services and operational workflows during client meetings, investigator meetings, and site initiation meetings when required.

  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to generating additional revenue opportunities.

  • Mentor and assist with onboarding and training new members of the Project Management team.
     

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical project management experience within the clinical research, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry.

  • 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably supporting clinical trials, pharmaceutical development, or a related industry.

  • Proven expertise managing complex projects and delivering results within defined timelines and budgets.

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development process and clinical research environment.

  • Experience supporting projects across multiple service lines or deep expertise within a specialized service area.

  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and scope management.

  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including professional fluency in English.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools.

  • Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

  • Detail-oriented approach with demonstrated responsiveness and accountability.

  • Valid passport and ability to travel approximately 20%.

  • Based in or able to work from Costa Rica in a hybrid or remote work environment.
