Payments Country Product Head- Senior Vice President
Location: Taipei, Taipei City, Taiwan

Services provides global solutions that help corporations, financial institutions, public sector and commercial clients optimize operations and drive their business forward. Through our five business lines – Liquidity Management Services, Payments, Trade & Working Capital Solutions, Investor Services and Issuer Services - we provide cash management, payments/receivables solutions, working capital solutions, post-trade securities services and issuer services across Citi’s global network.
The Taiwan Country Payments Product Head is a senior management level position responsible for managing a broad range of Product Management employees, setting strategy, and providing direction, leadership, and budgetary management, etc. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product lines through product life cycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team.
The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products, increase share of market and obtain competitive position. This role works closely with Cross Border Payments, Commercial Cards, Domestic Payments Products, and broader Payments team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as exercise control over resources, policy formation, and planning
- Utilize specialty knowledge to review, analyze, and develop beyond existing solutions
- Develop plans and execute functional strategies for the country or business requiring coordination and integration across units, as well as provide input into strategic decisions affecting job family or function within region/business
- Ensure solid partnerships and cross selling opportunities across range of products such as cash management, foreign exchange, and wealth management to deliver comprehensive services and solutions for clients
- Establish and maintain relationships with business risk, compliance, and other relevant groups within Citi, as well as develop and ensure execution of the business strategy, and manage risk and compliance
- Partner with other regional and country leaders to share best practices and drive business strategies, solutions, and client centric solutions to differentiate Citi in the marketplace and achieve substantial growth targets for the business
- Engage in internal and external negotiations
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience managing in a large, complex, and matrixed organization
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience within Transaction Banking, and Payments products
- Working knowledge of different systems, theories, and practices relevant to a function
- Practical experience of multiple business cycles
- Knowledge of industry and competitor products/services
- Working knowledge of strategic direction of the function within the business as well as a solid conceptual/practical grounding in function and/or area of expertise
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Demonstrated internal and external negotiation skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree Preferred
